Not app/tool/architecture development, but tool/ecosystem rollout, in service of communities, in resistance to the digital coup. Complementary, I would think,to Planet.
I wonder if you've had eyes on Hylo? Their community/hosted service is, again, complementary to planet. Forum/chat/deliberation orientation rather than the data orientation of Planet? Just exploring Hylo myself (for serious use) but again, it could be good to chat and take stock of things.
